About MECHATRONICS TECHNOLOGY (MECT) JAPAN

MECT is the biggest Machine Tool exhibition in Japan, 2015. It is held in autumn every two years at Port Messe Nagoya (Nagoya Int’l Exhibition Hall) in Nagoya and is the biggest Machine Tool exhibition in Odd-numbered years.
MECT2013 attracted 465 exhibitors and organization occupying 1,747 booths and over 90,000 visitors attended.

For Visitors

Q:How much is the entrance fee?

A:Entrance fee is JPY 1,000.(JPY 500 group over 10 people, free for under 15 years old)
Free for overseas visitors, students and invited guests, if they show their ID at the entrance.

Q:Is there enough parking lot?

A:There is a parking lot in and around Port Messe Nagoya.
However it would be better to use public transportation since there is limited number of space.

For Exhibitors

Q:When are the MECT2015 application dates?

A:Application starts from October 1st (Wed.) 2014 and close on April 26th (Thu.) 2015. The detail will be updated around September 2014 on this website.

Q:Where can I get MECT2015 Official Poster?

A:The official poster will be given out for free of charge. Please feel free to contact to MECT2015 office.

Q:Why visitors don’t wear the tag around neck?

A:Registration is not reguired for visitor because of following reasons.

① To reduce congestion at the entrance

② To offer equal service to all visitors regardless of job and business category.

③ To observe Protection of Personal Information

Q:Is there any height limitation of the booth?

A:The height limitation is 2.7m to make focus on exhibited products.
